Your first session will be an intake session. In a safe and comfortable space, we’ll discuss what brings you to therapy and begin laying the groundwork for your goals during our time together. I’ll ask some questions to get to know you better. No pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with! We’ll go at your pace.

Through my spiritual care work, I have many years of experience in working with first and second-generation immigrants. I understand the complexities of identity, the difficulties of communication and boundary-setting in a multicultural family, intergenerational tension, and the feeling of loneliness.
Through my experience working with trauma clients, I have also gained experience in working with people struggling with shame, betrayal, anger, hurt, or guilt after an event(s) that contradicts an individual's morals and values. -
We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your session. If you cancel within 24 hours or miss your appointment time, you will be charged the full session fee.

Most extended health care providers cover psychotherapy. Please check with your personal provider.

Therapy is confidential. The only exceptions are situations that involve safety concerns or legal obligations, supervision requirements which your therapist will explain when you start working together.

Each session is 50 minutes long.
